Have They Found The Cure to Man Made Climate Change ?

By rji | June 18, 2008

Genepax a Japanese company have unveiled what looks like the answer to all our prayers…. A car that runs on water and produces nothing but water as waste material.

Download Title

Broadening the concept, surely the power unit could then be modified to run household generators that would be connected to the mains water system and produce power to fuel every household appliance. No more CO2, no more pollution….. Here comes the new Ice-Age.

Well, they’d have to frighten us with somehting to let them make money !!

There are some criticisms though…….

The claims made by Genepax that their product produces useable energy to propel the car, requiring only water as a fuel and creating only water as exhaust are fundamentally inconsistent with the scientific communitys current understanding of the universe. The exhaust product could be routed directly into the fuel tank to power the car for an indefinite time period with no further intervention until a mechanical breakdown of the car occurs - until parts of the car wear out.

Unless some of the water is converted to other matter or energy, this is a direct violation of the First Law of Thermodynamics and effectively makes the Genepax product a perpetual motion machine.

If the company has found a way to tap the massive amount of energy stored in the mass (E = mc?2, Einsteins most well known equation), indeed a very little amount of mass would have to be transformed, if this is not the case, then the claims as currently stated by Genepax can not be true unless the very foundations of physical science are woefully incomplete.

The only alternative is that Genepax is either intentionally or ignorantly misleading the media and the public, and that a different source of energy is actually powering car.

Some free thinkers will understand that oil corporations are encouraging negative publicity towards Genepax and are trying to discurage the idea that there may be alternatives to oil as a fuel.

Lincolnshire Show 2008… Undecided !!!

By rji | June 17, 2008

You know, I had no idea we where halfway through The International Year of The Potatoe. Not that it’s a subject I’m particularly interested in. I just find it bemusing that we now have years and months and weeks for almost everything and anything.

The Lincolnshire Show promotes it thus……

The Lincolnshire Show is the ideal situation to demonstrate the the County’s involvement in growing potatoes within the UK. Learn about a year in the life of the potato by taking a look around the Grimme Potato Machinery Display in the Natwest Discovery Zone or pop in to the British Potato Councils’ Potato Trailer and learn about the journey from field to fork.

No doubt well worth the £16 per person entry fee in itself, but we’re more interested in the equestrian classes and although we’ve been keen visitors for years we’re now undecided due to rain and high-ish winds forecast for Wednesday. Most of the horse classes being on the Wednesday.

There’s just nothing worse than travelling miles and paying high entry fees to sit huddled under your brolly while trying to view quality showjumpers through the misty rain. So, the decision to attend will be left until we look out the window on Wednesday morning and maybe make a call to a friend that lives closer to the showground.

If, as expected, we have heavy rain we’ll be giving this year a miss, but hopefully, fingers crossed, the weather will hold out and we’ll enjoy the usual excellent showjumping and equine displays we get to see every year.

I just wish those prices would get a little more reasonable….. Adults £16 - OAPs £13 - Children aged 5 to 16 £9 - Under 5s Free - Family ticket (two adults and up to three children) £44

Two adults, travelling costs and a picnic or prepared lunch could set you back about £90.00 for a day in the rain.

Guilty - Gordon Brown Crushes Your Right to Liberty

By rji | June 11, 2008

Guilty - Gordon Brown Crushes Your Right to Liberty

Disgusted… I can’t even count how many hard won civil liberties this labour government has destroyed in the past 11 years, but this takes the cake.

Gordon Brown has made 42 days detention his legacy to Britain.

He has crushed civil liberty and cheered about it.

Three cheers for Gordy…

Labour MP,  John McDonnell, said

“There will be widespread consternation among our supporters in the country seeing a Labour government prepared to use every tactic available in its determination to crush essential civil liberties, which have been won by the labour movement over generations.”

Veteran former Labour MP Tony Benn said:

“I never thought I would be in the House of Commons on the day Magna Carta was repealed”.

Once again we’re left to rely on the unelected House of Lords to right a labour wrong !!!
